a moment by the river....

i wasn't going to take fall portraits of my kiddos this year. a great friend of mine did our family portraits this year (i'll have to stick the one of our family on my home page). she did such a great job and saved me a LOT of trouble :)  but the more time i spent taking pictures of other families with all those fall colors the more i wanted to capture them with my own family!

oh my heavens i love the boise river in the fall.... these pictures don't even do it justice. i'm glad we squished this session in real quick. gorgeous colors & some pretty cute faces!
