jake ~ class of 2012!

sooooooooooooo last but certainly not least here's JAKE! spring is awesome here. everything has greened up and i'm so happy to be shooting outside again. senior portraits are really fun for me. i've been thinking about my soon to be senior high school student, and i get a little misty-eyed just thinking about her graduation next year. jake was awesome. check out his cool car we captured in some of his shots! he and his mom were relaxed and happy to hang out at eagle island. it's gorgeous right now! we had a great time... congrats JAKE! best wishes for a fabulous future :)

nicole ~ class of 2012.......

i love doing senior portraits!  (have i mentioned that already?)  it is a big deal - how far they've come..... and this session was really special.  nicole had mom, dad and sister to cheer her on and help with her portraits.

it was my first real dose of wind this season though and at times it was so NASTY we just had to stand there and let it do its thing.  thankfully nicole was super relaxed and wonderful to work with.  congrats to you nicole - hope it's a wonderful last year of high school for you :)

mckenzie - class of 2012

fall is here!  we captured some really great fall colors during mckenzie's session... you will see more and more color in the upcoming posts (although i think we just skipped the rest of fall and went to winter??  it is snowing right now as i'm blogging these portraits??)

mckenzie and her mom were so fun.  we drove all over the place starting with some indoor shots of her at the piano.  (i love that she's a pianist!)  and the red shoes were awesome!  happy senior year mckenzie!

sam - class of 2012

love the depot this time of year!  sam and his mom were great....  when we were describing ourselves so we could meet up down there, she said to look for a really handsome kid with dark hair & skin.  i thought that was really cute.

we found lots of fall color and here again is a musically talented guy sporting his awesome instrument....   i love that!  :)

ryan.... class of 2012!

i've had the chance to do senior portraits for a few football players this year.  i LOVE that this guy isn't just a big, tough football player....  he also brought along his banjo!  i guess his dad plays too.  isn't that cool?  the weather has been terrific & the fall colors were just awesome!

zac - class of 2012

just had the chance to take zac's formal yearbook portraits.... his "real" portraits were taken this summer in MONTANA. would LOVE to shoot up there! congrats and best wishes for a great senior year zac!

brett - class of 2012

i love it when seniors share interests and personality through their portraits....  brett plays football and enjoys the outdoors!  merrill park was a great spot to show a bit of his personality.  his mom was great and helped me capture a smile or two :o)

megan...... class of 2012

have i mentioned how much i love doing senior portraits??  megan is awesome - she's bright and has this relaxed, easy-going personality.  she was great to work with...  and she has these golden brown EYES.  beautiful eyes!  we found a couple of new places to try too - i think they turned out great!  thanks megan :)  and best wishes for an awesome senior year!
