the ormsby family

i have just a few sessions left to post then i will be enjoying the christmas holiday!  i love the ormsbys :)  they endured the cold wind with smiles....  and i'm always SO happy (and relieved) to find that we did actually get some great portraits after bad weather like that.  the more i take portraits at the depot the more i love it.

handsome family (these pics of the littlest ormsby warm my heart too... she has lots of fans that will want to check these out ;o)

the brown family

there sure are a lot of beautiful gals in these pics.... one guy and all these beautiful gals. he's a lucky guy ;) their gorgeous brunette mom and i go way way back to college days (20+ years) and i look forward to their family portraits every single year!  i can hardly believe their girls are so grown up.  it's hardly fair that this many big, round eyes and all these beautiful manes are all part of one family....

sam - class of 2012

love the depot this time of year!  sam and his mom were great....  when we were describing ourselves so we could meet up down there, she said to look for a really handsome kid with dark hair & skin.  i thought that was really cute.

we found lots of fall color and here again is a musically talented guy sporting his awesome instrument....   i love that!  :)

trevor...... class of 2012

i love senior pics! trevor and his mom were great to work with.... he was a little bit on the serious side -  definately had a great "cool guy" pose.  every now and then his mom could get him to really smile though :)  back to one of my favorite locations - the boise depot.  it sure is beautiful in the summer! hope you have a fabulous senior year trevor!

the westover family

long long time friends of ours.... from down in sunny ARIZONA! it's always a treat to see the same families year after year. I do get to see the westovers now that we both live in idaho but not as often as we'd like to! it's so fun to see how much the children change year after year. this year they decided to ditch the colder, less predictable october weather. much more pleasant!

class of 2011 ~ taylours senior pics...

talk about a killer smile and beautiful blue eyes!   i've known taylours family for several years now but they lived away for a while.  how DO these kiddos grow up so fast?  we had lots of fun combing the grounds at the boise depot for the best spots. but of course i always love the close-ups best!

can u say WOOT WOOT! college grad ~ 2010....

wow! i have been very, very busy! sorry for the major gap here! i've got some big sports photography stuff going on, a wedding dvd, a family portrait sitting... add to that my 3 year old, 5 year old (preschool graduation), end of school for a high school kiddo, middle schooler, a fun weekend in mccall, and it just doesn't leave ANY time to hang out on the computer!

i'm finally ready to introduce mr. darren - college graduate!! fortunately we took his portraits before it started pouring rain the last few weeks.

darren just graduated from BSU! we had lots of fun running around the boise depot. he was a good sport and laughed at all of my jokes :) he didn't even roll his eyes when i stopped to take some photos of a very weird large bird to show my kids later! we were hoping to get some pics on the tracks, but there's an interesting construction project going on down there... not too picturesque unfortunately. his family happens to be the very first ones who were brave enough to let me take their portraits when i first started out a few years back! (brave souls!) congratulations darren! he's brilliant!
