the big day!

you should recognize this couple.....  they're in my slideshow and they just got married in june!  joe & ashley chose the coolwater creek ranch in meridian, idaho for their big event!  what a great place for a wedding!  it fit their personalities perfectly, too!  You may want to check it out if you live in the area!

trojans baseball... play ball!

one of the projects i keep really busy with is sports photography.... i love to photograph the teams my children play on especially when they're outside where the light is great! baseball is always fun to shoot. this season the trojans did awesome! great coaching & great kids make for great baseball! their season is about over but allstars is just beginning so looks like i will be shooting all summer :)

wow! i have been very, very busy! sorry for the major gap here! i've got some big sports photography stuff going on, a wedding dvd, a family portrait sitting... add to that my 3 year old, 5 year old (preschool graduation), end of school for a high school kiddo, middle schooler, a fun weekend in mccall, and it just doesn't leave ANY time to hang out on the computer!


i'm finally ready to introduce mr. darren - college graduate!! fortunately we took his portraits before it started pouring rain the last few weeks.

darren just graduated from BSU! we had lots of fun running around the boise depot. he was a good sport and laughed at all of my jokes :) he didn't even roll his eyes when i stopped to take some photos of a very weird large bird to show my kids later! we were hoping to get some pics on the tracks, but there's an interesting construction project going on down there... not too picturesque unfortunately. his family happens to be the very first ones who were brave enough to let me take their portraits when i first started out a few years back! (brave souls!) congratulations darren! he's brilliant!

alli ~ class of 2010

it was such a pleasure working with alli! she has a great personality and style. it was also fun watching her interact with her little dog... i love being downtown boise. it's a great city! i think we did a good job capturing boise's urban feel as well as alli's cute style!

my little friend chloe turned four recently! we ventured outdoors even though it's still been pretty darn chilly here lately... we did find a few spots free from the wind. she's got the cutest personality. happy birthday chloe!

joe & ashley are getting married this june! i thought they were absolutely adorable... so easy and fun to work with. they found this fantastic farm where we captured these great colors and textures. somehow they scheduled on a sunny, beautiful day in the middle of some pretty cold, rainy weather too. i'm really looking forward to photographing their wedding this summer. SUCH a cute couple!

valentine's day will have an extra special meaning for this couple each year! they were married recently and i had the opportunity to take portraits on their big day! you may recognize them from their engagement portraits. CUTE couple and so in love! they have such a beautiful family... it was my privilege to work with them and all of their friends & family. thank you shawn & mandy for trusting me with such important memories!

the dean family

day after christmas i met the dean family up at the depot for some family portraits.... it was chilly, but they were up for it - even sitting down in the soggy, wet snow! watching the grown siblings interact and enjoy each other always reminds me of my own four brothers & sister! it was great to see all of these families gather for the holidays.
