well it took me 7 weeks but i finally edited some pictures of my own kiddos... we went to one of my new favorite spots - eagle island park. we did our family portraits down in eagle by the river while my mother was here visiting from az. i think i will leave the canines out of the family picture next fall! they had a friendly "disagreement" on the way over so our female had to get a quick bath. Our 4 & 3 year olds were more cooperative in the photos!?!

my children are great subjects for me to practice on and they've actually gotten used to the camera over the years. we have a lot of fun! it's just hard to get a good family shot when you're in the picture...

the lyons family

here's another family you've seen before :) it is so fun for me to take portraits of families that i've known for a long time! it's hard to believe their youngest will be four soon... we started at the depot then finished up later at two rivers. love the fall leaves here. they had a lot of fun throwing them around!

christmas card layouts

i've had several clients ask if i'm doing christmas card layouts this year...

yes! here are a couple of examples. you can choose the background color(s) and photographs. you can choose a 5x7 or 6x7 1/2" layout design. costco will include envelopes if you choose their size (6x7 1/2") we can choose from a variety of fonts and sizes. call me if you're interested. the charge is $15-$20

nick's seniors - class of 2010

i love senior sessions... nick and his mom were great to work with. it was FREEZING and soooooo WINDY but we got some great shots of him! our first stop was katherine albertson park, then over to the anne frank memorial, the old boise bridge & the river. he definitely has the serious pose down - and i called him zac... doesn't he kind of look like zac efron?

the brown family

i have known this gorgeous brunette mom for twenty years! we went to college together and exchanged christmas cards all these years.... and now they live by me! lucky me! such dear friends with four gorgeous daughters. beautiful family inside and out!

the clark family

clark's may have gotten the best colors of all the shoots i've done at the river this fall :) it was so beautiful that day - and not too cold. the boise river has been a favorite for families lately. you'll be seeing more sessions here in the future. pretty photogenic family i must say!
