jodi and ryan's WEDDING

what a beautiful wedding! in the middle of really wet and windy weather came this terrific day (almost uneventful - the wind didn't blow hard until the ceremony finished, whew!) it really was a memorable day in every way. jodi had every detail ironed out weeks before and was the perfect bride to work with. i included the link to the spurwing golf country club as well. it was a really great location for weddings.

best wishes to the bride and groom!

the chambers big family portrait :)

holidays are always a great chance to capture the whole family in pictures!  spring is definitely here so it's been GREAT to see blossoms, green grass and all kinds of life trying to eek out of their dreary winter state.  i had the chance to photograph one of these handsome young guys in his senior portraits last fall and it was a real pleasure to meet their extended family.  lots of fun!

i found some easter bunnies :)

i've always wanted to do some cute easter bunny portraits... i found this really great family from emmett who let me "borrow" their bunnies instead of purchasing them! (adorable as they are i didn't want to have bunny pets - not with two 85 pound yellow labs around)

what i learned is that adding live animals to a portrait can be TRICKY! some of the subjects LOVED the bunnies. others weren't so sure about them. all in all i think we achieved the desired result! pretty cute!
